The Interview with the Singer Fergie.
The year 2007 has become very significant for the singer Fergie. Her new album “The Dutchess” has five 100% hits that have been at the top of various musical charts for a long time. Here is the interview with the singer Fergie who answers us the most interesting questions.
- Fergie, how do you feel after being claimed the singer of the year?
That’s cool. I have worked hard for many years to achieve that.
- Was it hard to work when you were associated with the usual sexy Black Eyed Peas vocalist?
Due to my solo album I managed to bring my history to people. To tell them who I am in fact
- I know that your album was criticized for “weak” content…
Every album song is very important to me. But I wanted to decorate it with interludes. When a child I would listen to short melodies of my favorite singers. I think that due to interludes one can know the artist – to listen to his laugh, unfinished material, plunge into the atmosphere of work in studio, and listen to his talks and so on. Frankly speaking I’d like to do the interlude album.
- Should we wait for creative realism from you?
Yes, I would like to do something non-commercial and ideal, the album that would show the real artist face to the audience. I don’t know why but today the most important thing for the artist is to create a new ring tone. But there are still such musicians as Alicia Keys who drives away every her song, and I respect her for that. I probably don’t have such a nice voice as she or Beyonce do but I have emotions that I like to share with. By the way I was really impressed with the last Beyonce’s album. I’m a fan of feminine music. I am not ashamed of it. I think that it is time for woman in show business. And that pleases me. I was always surprised with the competition among showbiz women. In fact we are all little girls that dream to become celebrities. That’s why how can we hate anybody who had the same dreams to yours?
- You worked with many famous musicians. Have you planned any project with anybody in future?
Yes, sure. I dream to work with Aerosmith. I had a great pleasure having performed with them at Fashion Rocks festival. I’d like to go for rock-n-roll. If they refuse to work with me I will be very disturbed (Laughing)
