Two wealthy men bet that a person can't spend $720,000 in 12 hours. News reporter Pryor is the person picked to spend the money. When the police discover that he has $720,000 and he covered a recent bank robbery, they make the reporter their No. 1 suspect. The film then becomes one giant race as Pryor tries to spend the money and keep one step in front of the cops. Kennedy plays a police officer and Holloway is a cab driver.
